Nearing the end of the season, talk of retirement is about....
Last week Chris Pyne announced his retirement at the end of 2013. Adam Tearle, Mick Deacon and Brad Grant have all played their final games in the Black & Gold.

Terence Seuseu announced as Captain/Coach for 2014

Chris Pyne retires at the end of the 2013 season

Adam Tearle played his last game for Cessnock last weekend against Kurri. 

Mick Deacon has also announced his retirement.

All three Grades came away with a win.

Trial Match Saturday 9th March - v - Woy Woy

 Unfortunately the Under 18's and Under 23's did not get a run due to lack of numbers for Woy Woy.












First Grade Results - Cessnock 48 - 34 Woy Woy

We saw the return of Mick Deacon. Mick was injured last year with what was deemed a 'career ending injury'. It was good to see him out there and playing great footy.



Reserve Grade Results - Cessnock 28 - 12 Woy Woy

This game saw the return of Colby Schrader to Cessnock.
 We also got to watch the return of Brad 'Huey' Grant.

SEASON LAUNCH - A Great Start to Season 2013

Thank you to the Rugby League Supporters Club for hosting a Fantastic night.
Both Cessnock Minor League and Senior League were well represented.
The night was hosted by one of our local juniors and favourite players.....
Kane Bradley. Kane conducted interviews wirh some very cute Minor League kids as well as League Greats Rod Whitaker, Brendan Hlad and Bill Peden.

A copy of the Launch DVD, which included the amazing Centennary DVD, by Jennylee Petryson, will be uploaded soon.
